Paskar OworPaskar has it all - former Olympian, dedicated club / team player when it comes to major athletic championships, and someone who has spent a huge amount of his own time helping and guiding others within sport.
Having represented his native Uganda at both the Sydney and Athens Olympic Games, not to mention his British Universities title in the Olympic Stadium in 2012, Paskar is hugely enthusiastic to pass on his experience to as many young protégées as he can. He has already given talks to Roehampton University and various London schools about his experiences in growing up during the Ugandan Civil War, and how athletics influenced his life. His recruitment to the Met-Track coaching family is a hugely positive asset, which will doubtless impact on many young Londoners’ lives in the future. |
